Woman Found Dead On Fairfax County Roadside, Police Say

Police were investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in Fairfax County early Saturday, May 18.

The woman's body was found near Old Towne Road and 14th St., E in Belle View around 6:30 p.m., a spokesperson for the FCPD said.

UPDATE: Police have identified the body found in Belle View as 58-year-old CNN political commentator Alice Stewart.

No foul play was suspected and the incident remains under investigation.
